Our School Orchestra Was Awarded the Highest Honorary Award of the ‘Model Orchestra’by the 13th China Excellent Wind Music Team

2019 China’s 13th Excellent Wind Music Team Performance was held in Shanghai as scheduled. Our school orchestra won the highest honor award of ‘Demonstration Orchestra’.

The performance was co-organized by the China Music Association Wind Music Society, Shanghai Spring International Music Festival Organizing Committee, Shanghai Yangpu District People’s Government, Shanghai Municipal People’s Government Foreign Affairs Office, Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Television. More than 130 teams from all over the country, nearly 10,000 musicians participated in the live broadcast, a total of 16 live broadcasts, nearly 10 million viewers. ‘China Excellent Wind Music Team Performance’ has become the most professional and influential wind music team performance in China. Our school orchestra was invited to participate in this performance and the opening ceremony.

After nearly ten months of hard training, all the music and dance teachers and students of the School of Music Education received high praise from the industry during the opening ceremony and won the highest honor of the University Travel Group in the performance—— The title of ‘Demonstration Orchestra’ on May 3. At this point, our school orchestra has become the double demonstration orchestra of the indoor symphony orchestra and outdoor marching music, and it has become the only music school orchestra in the country to receive this honor.
