Students from the Department of Opera Chorus Won International Competition Awards

In the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music International Music Competition hosted by the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music, St. Petersburg Musicians’ Association, Russian Cultural Field International Cooperation Center, Russia-China Culture and Education Development Association, and Russia-China Cultural and Art Education Exchange Foundation, our student Dan Yinxuan (Guide Teacher: Shi Hongqiang) won the first prize in the professional youth group. This competition is a top-level competition, which not only invites outstanding music contestants from China and the St. Petersburg Conservatory of Music, but also many Russian people, meritorious artists (the highest honor for Russian artists) and well-known Chinese and Russian professors and artists, so as to build the highest palace of art, and carry forward China-Russia friendship.
Recently, the 2020 7th Asian International Arts Festival was hosted by the Chinese Musicology Department of Chinese Culture University, the Asian Young Musicians Association, the Asian Arts Festival Organizing Committee and the University of Macau. In the preliminary online selection contest, our school student Fang Qing (supervisor: Shi Hongqiang) won the second prize in the art academy category and also qualified for the finals. The final is tentatively scheduled to be held at the University of Macau in February 2021.
