Good News of Accordion Competition Coming from Chicago

The 76th International Accordion Art Festival was held by Accordionists and Teachers Guild, International in Chicago, the U.S.A.. Good news came from the competition.

Xue Dong (conductor: Professor Chen Jun): the 1^st prize of Champion Group

Zhang Ying(conductor: Professor Chen Jun): the 2^nd prize of Champion Group and the 1^st prize of National Group

Ou Yang Xin Yi(conductor:Associate Professor Xia Gang):the 1^st prize of Polka Group

Chen Run Feng(conductor: Professor Zhang Xiao Bo): the 2^nd prize of Pop Group

Xun Yi Dan(conductor: Professor Xia Gang): the 3^rd prize of Pop Group

The art festival has been held annually by Accordionists and Teachers Guild, International of America since 1941. The founder of it is Master Gala Rini, the father of accordion in the U.S.. Innumerable accordionists have won prizes on this festival.
